###Cours de Ken Bromberg, University of Utah, USA
In joint work with M. Bestvina and K. Fujiwara we described an axiomatic approach to construct group actions on quasi-trees. The construction is very general and works for a wide class of groups that have some form of hyperbolic behavior. The original proof was quite technical. In new work, joint with Bestvina, Fujiwara and A. Sisto we have a much simpler approach that also produces acylindrical actions. We will describe this work.
Ken Bromberg est notre invité dans le cadre du semestre thématique Lebesgue 2017 "Dynamique et géométrie".
