The event will be held at the Beaulieu campus in Rennes

The lectures will be given in building 2A (amphitheatre E or D;
for more precision see the schedule of the school and of the conference), 
whereas lunches will be taken at the "Resto U Astrolabe"
(with the exception of May 29 and May 30; more precision on this 
will be given by the organizers).

Student rooms

In case you are accommodated in a student room: student rooms are
located near the campus (the distance is easily covered by foot)
but there will be several different locations; exceptionnaly, some
participants may be accommodated in student rooms located in the
city center; note that the city center and the campus are
connected by a fast an convenient metro line (see below). You
should have received the exact location of your accommodation,
as well as other useful and relevant information by email from
our administrative staff and/or the organizers.


Public transportation in Rennes

Rennes has a fairly large bus network and two metro lines.  Tickets
(1,7€ for a one hour trip) can be bought from the bus drivers or at
the metro stations. It is also possible to validate directly your
contactless bank card.

Here are some useful itineraries:

From the city center to the Beaulieu campus
The most convenient way is to take the metro (line B, direction
Viasilva) from Gares, Saint-Germain or Sainte-Anne station and to get off at "Beaulieu-Universités"

You may also take the bus (line C4, direction : ZA Saint-Sulpice (Rennes), or line C6, direction: Rigourdière (Cesson-Sévigné) and get off at "Tournebride". 


From the airport to the city center 
- by bus: take the line C6 and get off at "République"
- by bus and metro : take the bus line C6 and change at
 "Saint-Jacques - Gaîté" to take the metro (line B) and get off 
 at Saint-Germain or Sainte-Anne
- by taxi: the airport is about 10/15 minutes from the city center.

From the airport to Beaulieu campus
- by bus: take the line C6 and get off at "Tournebride"
- by bus and metro : take the bus line C6 and change at
 "Saint-Jacques - Gaîté" to take the metro (line B) and get off
 at "Baulieu-Universités"
- by taxi: the airport is about 10/15 minutes from Beaulieu campus

From the train station to the city center
You can either walk or take the metro (line A, direction Kennedy, get
off at République or Sainte-Anne or line B, direction Viasilva, get
off at Saint-Germain or Sainte-Anne)

From the train station to Beaulieu campus
The most convenient way is to take the metro (line B, direction
Viasilva) and to get off at "Baulieu-Universités"

 

Getting to Rennes

By plane

Rennes airport operates flights from and to over 70 destinations.

By train
The Rennes train station is located downtown and accessible from
the European capitals (often via Paris).

By plane and train
It is also possible to take a flight with final destination Paris
airport and take a train (TGV) from Paris to Rennes. From
Charles de Gaulle Airport rail station to Rennes, there are between
4 and 6 trains a day (direct trip, 3h to reach Rennes). From
Montparnasse railway station (Paris) to Rennes, 19 trains by day
(direct trip, 1h30 to reach Rennes).
